Silkscreen Printing with Beatrice Thomas
Screen printing is a great way to make multiple prints. It is a fun, more immediate, and simpler
type of printmaking. This class will explore a variety of simple screen printing techniques,
and methods of creating stencils for image production. From paper stencils to mono-printing.
No need for computers or light sensitive chemicals. So come on and add a new skill to your
creative bag of tricks. Instructor Beatrice Thomas has been teaching screen printing around
Austin for 2 years. She is a partner in a textile design studio which creates beautifully screen
printed and hand-embroidered home textiles.
