2015 Spring Market Part II

Spring Market Part II and Retail Breakfast

Drop off your Spring Market Part II submissions at Bone Black Studio & Gallery Saturday, April 25th from 9 AM to 11 AM.  Come talk retail, share your ideas, and enjoy bagels & schmear, coffee, tea, and pastries!

Who is Eligible?

Open to all existing, new, or renewing members.


We are going to try something a little different for this market season. With the popularity of unframed prints growing, we are going to display both framed and unframed prints on the gallery walls. We are continuing to display unframed prints in print racks and display bins/fixtures as well.

· Here are some specifics:

  • Each member can submit a maximum of two framed and two unframed prints to display on the gallery wall. 
  • We are looking for more accessories and home décor items that incorporate print-making techniques in their design, please consider submitting these items to ensure we have a well-rounded inventory with varying price-points.
  • Members can submit an unlimited number of unframed prints or prints on blocks/textiles/cards for display on other fixtures in the studio. If we receive an excess of these items we will impose a limit however, at this time, here is no limit.
  • Drop-off for this Market will be Thursday night, April 23rd between 6 -9 PM (Open Studio hours) or Saturday, April 25th between 9 AM - 3 PM (during our retail market breakfast and retail hours).
  • The prints you would like displayed on the gallery walls must be entered into your on-line portfolio.  so signs can be made.Reminder: 4 maximum – 2 framed, 2 unframed. Unframed prints submitted to be displayed on gallery walls must be dropped off in protective packaging (backing board and some kind of water resistant packaging like a Krystal Seal bag). Your packaging should include your name and the name of your print. When your unframed print sells, we will put it in the packaging you supply for your customer transport home.
  • The pick-up date for unsold hanging prints is June 7th, 2015 (Sunday).  Hours TBD.
  • Entry Fee: $20. $10 discount if you sign up and volunteer for two, three-hour retail shifts between April 27 – June 6 . There are 6 retail days (12 retail shifts) between April 27 and June 6.
  • Commission Structure: Artist/WPA = 60/40. If you sign up and volunteer for two, three-hour retail shifts between April 27 – June 6, your commission structure changes to 70/30.

Take down/Pick up work  Sunday, June 7th.  Hours TBD.
You must pick up your work or make necessary arrangements. Work not picked up will be placed in the WPA storage unit. WPA is not responsible for lost or damaged work after pick-up.

How do I sign up for this Exhibition?

The deadline to signup has passed. Deadline for Entry: 6/6/2015.

How do I submit my work?

  • After you are signed up for this event you will see a new "Submit Your Work" button in the "Participate" section on the right of this screen (you must be logged in). Click on this button.
  • Select the pieces from your portfolio that you would like to submit.
  • If your piece has not been added to your portfolio use the link at the bottom of the page "Click here to add a piece to your portfolio" and follow the on-screen instructions.

How do I volunteer?

Volunteers recieve discounts to some WPA events. After you have logged in to the WPA website, volunteer positions will appear in the "Volunteer Positions" section on the right of this screen. Click on one of the open checkboxes to the left of the position name.

How do I modify my volunteer position(s)?

After you have logged in to the WPA website you can click either the "Volunteers" tab at the top of this screen or the "View/Manage" button located at the bottom of the volunteer position box on the right of this screen. To remove yourself click the trashcan icon to the right of your name.

Cancellation Policy

Since we have limited space our events fill up quickly. If you need to cancel please let us know ASAP (email info@womenprintmakers.com) so we can fill your spot. 

If you cancel by 4/21/2015 (more than 5 days) you will receive a refund of $0.00.
NO REFUNDS for cancellations after 4/21/2015.
