This comes from a cherry block of wood. It was carved using traditional Japanese woodcutting tools. It is hand printed with a wooden spoon on rice paper.
Artist's Comments:
This image represents our internal cells as they all work together forming our bodies constitution as it carried our own personal landscapes. I print in monotypes because I enjoy playing with the earthly colors. Not one earth tome will be the same - just as in nature - a contentious chance in form and color. this piece is a deep burnt sienna earth tone.
